LORE is a space that celebrates nature, people escaping the city life and seeking the desert as a place to gather, sit around fire, talk, camp, enjoy day and night life.
The floor plan is designed to offer different seating spots for the cafe visitors, each seating spot offers it’s users a different mood and a new experience.
The space is divided visually into three zones, the Lounge space, the main dining space and the outdoor space, all three connected visually and spatially by the main center piece, the service counter.
The two sides of the cafe incorporate the lounge areas, each seating area is surrounded by two planters and vault like lights, creating a sense of a smaller and cozy space within the bigger space.
The waiting area is a small nook at one of the corners in Lore. where visitors can take photos with the decor and share it on social media while waiting. all favoring more marketing for Lore.
The display welcomes the visitors when they are entering the cafe from either sides. This display showcases the marvelous creations of Lore’s kitchen, whether they were raw or cooked products.
The shaded areas are covered with solid vaults and translucent fabric installations.
The density of the vaults and the transition between dark and light marks entrances, pathways and seating areas.
